When can I use this method?

For multiplying any two numbers relatively near each other.

This method becomes a little difficult when the numbers are far apart.

Notes –

  1. Make sure to select a round number as the nearby number to ease the calculations.
  2. This method uses the concept of (a + b)(a + c) = a (a + b + c) + (bc)
