LAZYMATHS CROSSES THE 10,000 VISITOR MARK!!

Friday, December 26th, 2008

Remember, only about 5 weeks back, we had announced reaching the 5000 visitor mark and we also projected to cross the 10,000 mark before the turn of 2008? Guess what, we did it!

LazyMaths is proud to announce that in less than 3 months of its launch, LazyMaths has been visited by over 10,000 unique visitors.

A BIG THANKS TO ALL OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS!!

For most, 10,000 is not a very big number in terms of today’s standards, but considering that LazyMaths caters to a niche audience of Speed Math students, this feat is definitely commendable.

Let’s see which milestone would LazyMaths reach before the turn of 2009.

A KISS TO THE NEW SIGN UP FORM

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

This is proof that we hear from our visitors and members. Over the last few weeks, we have been receiving feedback to improve the Sign Up form on LazyMaths. And Lo behold! We not only improved the Sign Up form, but also simplified the entire Sign Up process.

Our visitors are no more asked anything more than what is utmost required. Yes, we have cleared the clutter and now have a clean look. The ReCaptcha Word Challenge has been replaced with a simple Math question – this is to avoid those ugly spammers. (We are Math people, why use words when we can use numbers?)

Earlier new users were sent an activation email on sign up and were asked to click an activation link to complete the sign up process. Now, you are signed in as soon as you submit the sign up form. So, no more looking for that activation email. You are on your way to experience the Fastest and the Smartest Math sooner, faster and quicker.

Simply put, we followed the simple adage Keep It Simple, Stupid! (KISS).
